GovPilot is searching for a successful Sales Executive to become an integral part of our growing team.  We will look to this professional sales person to help grow the company through new sales and by developing and expanding our services within the existing customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be given attainable monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals to meet for which you’ll earn additional income under our competitive commission plan

  • Build a pipeline by driving opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle while also leveraging internal and external resources. This includes new business prospecting, qualification, proposal creation, SOW development, and negotiations

  • Retain and grow existing clients by maintaining executive/decision maker relationships and constantly looking for new opportunities within your customer base.

  • Develop and maintain a 5-to-1 advanced funnel to quota ratio to predictably meet targeted revenue goals

  • Manage daily business activities by using Salesforce.com to provide feedback on and track prospects and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in selling IT solutions to all levels of decision makers and influencers from technical contacts to C-level executives and senior management in mid-sized enterprises

  • Proven commercial experience in a new business sales environment, incorporating value/solutions service selling ideally within the IT Infrastructure / Technology sector

  • Demonstrable ability to develop rapport and solution sell into all levels of decision makers and influencers within middle to large enterprises

  • Proven and verifiable track record in exceeding sales quotas

  • Full life cycle B2B sales experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as an executive presence

  • High energy and drive

  • Experience selling SaaS Software

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience selling to Government entities

  • Established network of “influencers” and senior level decision makers who consume or know of projects involving government IT and relevant software procurement
