GovPilot has an exciting opening for an Account Manager / Trainer position! Government has lagged behind the private sector in adopting technology, you will be tasked with demonstrating how our modules can make the day of a municipal employee far easier. In this direct sales role, you will have the ability to upsell our existing customer base from our catalog of over 125 modules designed to streamline government operations. You can earn significant commissions through servicing and upselling your existing customer base.
You will work with our Management, Sales, Onboarding, Customer Support, and I.T. Teams to ensure your customer is receiving the service they deserve. You will truly be the eyes and ears of our company harvesting insight on how we can improve our product, onboarding, and customer support initiatives.
As an ideal candidate, you have excellent interpersonal skills, extensive experience building, and managing relationships and possess superior skills in learning new technology.
Develop an expert level understanding of GovPilot Solutions
Determine opportunities and recommend GovPilot’s solutions
Develop strong relationships with government employees, managers, and elected officials
Present and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.
Manage the full customer life-cycle from Onboarding to Renewal
Ensure successful adoption of the GovPilot platform; hold on-site training as necessary
Manage customer health to identify and effectively mitigate churn
Demonstrate discipline in meeting various goals, especially customer outreach efforts
Continually focus on operational enhancements and work with team leads to implement change
Serve as a customer advocate - gather and determine the implications of customer feedback on product needs
5+ Years of Account Management / Sales Experience
Superior skills in learning and using various tech applications
Vehicle and willingness to travel
